I'm a quasi-government slave who "should have done more with his life." But in my opinion, that's exactly what I'm doing. I like to be active and fit, but I don't obsess over it. I'm just as content to plop down and work on some sketches while I binge Netflix & pizza as I am to get out to train for a 25 mile single speed mountain bike race.

I live in upstate New York with my wife and our cat and dog. We've been happily married forever, but not long enough. I love my dog though I never wanted one. And the cat has been putting up with me longer than my wife.

It's always a rewarding experience to meet new people. Sometimes they can become great new friends, maybe you'll just have a mutually enjoyable encounter, or maybe you won't particularly care for each other. Regardless, at least you're interacting with the world. And sometimes it's just not practical to pay for a hotel.

As for music, I'll listen to most anything, but prefer something with a little funk or a bluesy note. I love to read. I'll read anything a friend recommends, but naturally drift toward fantasy fiction. And I always enjoy a bad movie, but I'd rather be outside.
