I am totally new to couch surfing, a friend recommended it and love the concept of kind hearted souls sharing their home with new people.

I have been living in New York City the majority of my life, spent 6 years in upstate New York enjoying the mountains, hiking, camping and being one with the outdoors. I came back to NYC for work and a woman, stayed for 4 years but decided in September 2016 it was time to see America so I am taking the plunge with my final destination being Los Angeles, California.

I have never traveled like this on my own before but it's time to for sure, life waits for no one. I plan to zig zag around for a bit and see what I can while the weather permits, enriching my soul with people, places, nature and connection within.

I spent many years in corporate America at big companies, have done many different jobs in various fields, jack of all trades, renaissance man you could say. I spent many years in entertainment, technology and management, looking forward I am seeking to lead a more entrepreneurial life.

I like diversity and eccentric people and those that live life on their own terms with courage and no fear.

I feel I walk a spiritual path, learning from everyone and everything I see, hear, feel and experience. I take joy in smelling flowers, observing the beauty in the mundane, like watching someone smile, enjoy a hug from a friend or loved one or even a small child run into the arms of their parent. Watching birds or animals in nature I find calming and connecting.

I love nature, green lush lands and every terrain in between. I feel somehow connected to Native American spirit and the energy of connection to the land in honor.

I play guitar, bass, percussion and a little piano.

I enjoy a lively conversation and hearing about other people's journeys.

Classic Rock, Jamband(Grateful Dead, Phish, Chris Robinson Brotherhood, Govt Mule), Reggae (Bob Marley, Ska, Peter Tosh, Wailers), Beasty Boys, singer songwriter, Ravi Shankar, mellow stuff. I can listen to just about anything, very open. Started listening country and hip hop once in s while.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Several probably but one thing stands out in mind while writing this... I saved a girl who was chocking.

A year ago I was walking through Whole Foods and saw this young woman with her hand on her chest, I could see immediately she was not well and starting to panic.

Others walked by her and immediately saw she was chocking! I remembered all the times you see the diagrams how to prevent chocking and instinctually just did it!

She tossed something from her throat and was fine in seconds. If I was not there who knows what might have happened. I was an incredible feeling, I was so glad I could be of help.
