About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Trying to smash my way across SE Asia with no money. Let's go.

ABOUT ME

I pretty much want to see as much of the world as I possibly can. I like a drink, I like eating delicious
food, I like seeing things that I haven't seen before.

I love meeting new people and hearing about what they've been up to, what their story is, so if you've got something interesting to tell me I'd love to hear it.

That's pretty much it for this box, because I find it difficult to write about myself without feeling like I'm showing off.

PHILOSOPHY

Stop talking about it and do it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm pretty new to the whole thing really.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Interests

Going out, movies, reading (in that order). Eating, exploring, drinking (not in that order). Taking photos, playing half-sports like pool and ping pong, playing real sports like football (soccer)and rugby.

Music, Movies, and Books

Irvine Welsh, James Joyce, Charles Dickens, the bloke who wrote the Beach and the Tesseract. Cohen Brothers, Shane Meadows, Tarantino (up to a point, True Romance is my favourite movie).

The music one is a silly question because it's like asking what's your favourite food - it depends what you fancy. You don't eat oysters for breakfast, you don't listen to folk at a rave, but I like oysters and I like folk.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saw a man with no arms playing the harmonica. Uplifting and depressing at the same time.

Teach, Learn, Share

I really want to learn the languages of the places I'm in. I want to learn to cook the food of the places I'm in. I want to learn the culture, the lifestyle, the ethos, of the places I'm in.
