CURRENT MISSION

To survive the next two weeks at school and then enjoy the summer.

ABOUT ME

We are a family of four with two teenagers in the house, a girl (15) and a boy (16). Ewa works as a teacher in the elementary school and Robert works as a draftsman. We are quite busy during the week but on the weekends we like to do something as a family. We go hiking all year round, Robert and kids ski in the winter and we all go camping in the summer (Robert occasionally camps in the winter). We enjoy art, good music, good food, wine and conversation. We would like our kids to travel the world as we did when we were young so we want them to taste "couch surfing" and get hooked.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We were not very active in the past but we would like to become more involved now. We will be away in Europe this summer but we can start hosting this September.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have not surfed yet. We like to talk to people and learn about the world they live in.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Seeing 'Aurora borealis' in northern Canada and the destruction that tsunami caused on Phi Phi Island which Ewa visited 25 years ago.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

Robert and Philip are always interested in new recipes. They like to experiment when they cook. Lena likes to talk a lot, tell jokes and make fun of everyone. Ewa makes the best pancakes in the world, with bananas and maple syrup. Philip and Lena can entertain you (if they feel like) playing piano or teaching you how to play it. Lena and Philip would also like to have more opportunity to practice their French.
