Live life to the fullest :)
I don't like to judge me myself and rather leave this to others, thus some rather basic information:
I am almost done with my "Studies of Culture" at the University of Koblenz and have moved to Leipzig already.
I enjoy meeting nice people and would love to hang out, provided I'm free :-)
And probably an important information: I am vegan (but get along well with other people eating animal products or meat & am flexible if circumstances require)
Maisha ni safari ndefu (Swahili saying, "Life's a long journey")
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have been using CouchSurfing as surfer for quite some time already and am now trying to gather first hosting experience.
All my surfs & hostings have been great so far, will do it again!
Well, what I'm interested in... A lot! Let me start off with this one:
I like to help and to work with people. And, well, I have a passion for fire fighting and the emergency medicine ;-) Therefore, I am volunteering at a fire department in my city and want to start a training as paramedic next year. In the meantime, I'm working as trainer for intercultural and political seminars. Also, I do some voluntary work for a Tanzanian non-governmental organization.
Now, what else. I love being in the company of nice people (and luckily I've got so amazing friends!). Moreover, I love sport climbing, go hiking quite often, ride my bike almost everywhere and in terms of traveling, I like trekking--being out for a few days only with my backpack and some nice company walking through some beautiful landscapes. My interests are pretty broad and besides emergency stuff, I'm often occupied with politics (from feminism to anarchism) and always appreciate inspiring opinions or ideas. Besides, I also like scuba diving, exploring a city or the countryside, swimming, watching funny as well as profound movies, reading amusing as well as interesting books...and trying new stuff :-)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Uff, hard to tell... Let me mention this one: Living remotely on a Swiss mountain - but there'd also be so maaany other things worth mentioning here :-)
Teach, Learn, Share
I like to learn a lot, depends on what the other person can tell or teach me! :-)
I might be able to tell you something about first aid, fire fighting, intercultural experiences, politics, 'studies of culture', ...
