Interests

I love traveling a meeting new people as well as tracking down old friends. I really enjoy playing sports particularly ultimate Frisbee and basketball. If I could do one thing for ever it would be to simply spend time with the people I love everyday I suppose that could lead to a multitude of activities but the sentiment I feel is the point of that statement. I enjoy things like cooking, gardening, fixing things around the house, you know typical househusband stuff. I crave activity whatever form that comes in, I am very high energy though I also have a deep appreciation for the power of doing nothing from time to time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The day a friend of mine and I arrived in Paris we had twelve hours to kill before our bus to Lyon so we decided we had to check out the Eifel tower while we were here. To make a long story short we vastly underestimated the distance from the bus stop to the tower and ended up walking for roughly 7 hours with our 50+ pound backpacks before arriving there later that night. The moment was made particularly memorable because as we arrived the moment we stepped onto the grass around the tower it lit up which we had no idea it did. Another time the same friend and I decided to drive ten hours from where we were to get to the grand canyon not so bad but we started at 6:00 pm arriving at 4:00am in the total darkness with no idea if we were allowed to be where we were we climbed over a guard rail and found a crevasse in the rocks where we hunkered down and waited to watch the sun rise over the seemingly endless horizon, pretty magical.
