I had the joy of spending a night in a Vilnius with a great host and the next day drinks and a walk round town with a day host in Kaunus!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My first solo trip abroad, I was 17 and had never traveled alone or used trains. I arrived in Amsterdam and began a 2 month train journey/adventure around Europe.

My first and every subsequent trip to Turkey. An amazing place with amazing food, ppl, culture and where I was lucky enough to meet a Hungarian lady whom I traveled with, then visited in Hungary and eventually married.

The trans Manchurian and trans Mongolian trains to and from China, 1 week-ish in each direction and always fun!
