I didn't get married because I Wanted to see the world.I spent most of my 20's and 30's traveling. I am just going to college now and I am 51. Never to old to learn and earn more.I don't know. How to change my age on this but I am 51, not 18 as it states.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To Learn about new people.To boldly Travel Where I've never been before. To show off where I live,Near Yosemite. Ok, it's Fresno, but Yosemite. Is just an hour away. I like to spend time with locals when I travel and this way I get to stay with someone who knows the area.

studying different cultures and religions, exploring, a lot of reading, the GLBT community and the world. I think people are good, kind, and want to share their homelands.I've been mugged overSeas but also in the U.S. and I ended meeting lifelong friends because of it. Good comes from bad. All kinds of music, except Noise Music(what is that about?) Love books on pandemics, poetry, and medical mysteries. Don't Watch T.V. , and I love a good live concert. My favorite movie was "Waking Ned Devine." Funniest movie ever.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I protested Apartide in South Africa. I was arrested three times and asked to leave the country. I Kept going back. Finally, Mandela Was released, truth and reconciliation, Mandela President and Equality. I got to hear Mandela speak a couple of times. My Hero.

Teach, Learn, Share

I learn from those I meet, I hope I do the same for them. I love to Take people to Yosemite for the first time. And what a great way to share experiences and provide a safe inexpensive Way to travel off the path everyone else takes.
