Don't have any experience couchsurfing yet so I'm not sure how to answer this.

Movies: anything but horror. I seem to like movies where not a whole lot happens.
Music: Anything but Lana del Rey is good in my book.
Books: Big fan of Kerouac, the Dharma Bums is probably my favourite. Vonnegut Murakami are also great.

Hiking through Norway, canoeing through Sweden and huskysledding through Finland. I'm in love with the nature there.
