About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To realize wether we create our mission or we just discover it.

ABOUT ME

I passed my first nine years of life in Cancun, that is: warm weather, tropical storms, blue turquoise sea and a constant smell of jungle vegetation.
I passed my next 9 years in Mexico City, that is: itching eyes, impressive view of the mountains when pollution allows it, people, people, people, better education but more snobish.
I left before finishing school to Paris, where I completed it, while discovering what it means to live alone, and little cinemas with old films, and falling in love with damn crazy women, and winter - at least enough winter to dream with a hot drink in a little café where you get to see your friends always by chance (or so you want to believe).
I have traveled to Andalucía and Morocco for a whole summer, also to India, another summer, and made many little trips around Europe and to Argentina.
Mexico is my country, the one I know the best and I always enjoy telling-hearing beautiful stories about it (all travelers going to Mexico have beautiful stories to tell), but I'm not at all nationalistic, and enjoy-value the pleasures and traditions of every culture.
I'm always happy sharing some Mexican recipes and telling some Mexican jokes!

PHILOSOPHY

Learning from my ignorance.
I have not a damn idea what I live for, but I'll tell you once I know it. For the moment, I can only say that I love laughing with people, and it's a pleasure for me to feel in a community or sharing a feeling or idea with others.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I Couchsurf! That's a lot, already... I also plan to host when I get back to a calm life, maybe after September.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I think CS is a great opportunity to fight the mercantilism of the modern way of life. Man, sharing, as simple as that, seems so hard to many! I've stayed in unknown people's houses in Mexico, in Morocco, in India, always with great experiences. But in Europe the thing is harder, I guess. Now thanks to CS I hope I'll cross that limit.

Interests

I like deep discussion; I like soft and funny discussions; I like irony and easy going attitudes; I like diversity. I'm interested in so many things and specialized in so few. Discussions about politics, kinds of cheeses, or man evolution, all fit me very well. I'd like to know more about churches architecture and kinds of plants, just to enjoy a bit more all the natural paths and the little churches you see in the middle of everywhere in countries like Mexico and Italy.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love old films, jazz, classical and music from around the world (Son and Boleros -I'm mexican!-, Indian, Berber, etc), and classics in literature. But then again, I can appreciate all kinds of musics. There are moments for Reggae as there are moments for Coltrane!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Man... only one amazing thing? I've been terribly in love with someone; I've had the most wonderful soup after 2 days of starvation in the middle of the desert; I've seen ghosts -in which, still today, I don't believe. I hope many amazing things are still to come...

Teach, Learn, Share

I can make phenomenological experiences with those wanting to try...
