Find a balance between working and exploring!
Happy, outgoing, interested in meeting new people!
Travelling is a double-edged sword.
On one hand it is masochistic, especially when you live somewhere that doesn't inspire you. The more amazing places you go the more pieces of your soul you leave strewn across the earth. I guess this means that I will have to live somewhere that I connect to after school is done or else risk forever wishing I was somewhere else.
On the other hand all those amazing places fill your heart with joyful and incredible memories, and you are so much more of a person having experienced all of those people and places. Despite the heartache of nostalgia I would never trade my memories for anything.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have hosted several times in Calgary and hope to continue doing so in Vancouver!
As an architecture and urban studies student I am fascinated by cities, the life within them, the structure of the urban fabric.
Music, Movies, and Books
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
1. Manchu Picchu and a 5-day, 100km hike into it in the summer of 2006.
2. Going to Spain and setting up a life in Barcelona for a few months in fall 2008.
There's too many to list. But most importantly having the means and good fortune to have been able to do it in the first place. I'm well aware that most people never will.
