Hi,

I am Roel and I live in Melsele, one in two weeks with my three kids (Cyriel and Tjeu, twin boys born in june 2014 and Nel, our daughter born in december 2015), the other week I live on my own.

I am working as a freelance engineer and am currently working about 4 months a year. The rest of the time I spend looking after my children and thinking about life and methods to improve society.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I am not very fond of travelling to exotic places myself, I don't fly airplanes out of principle, I want the world to come to me in the form of travellers, no matter how far they've come.
