One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was backpacking with a friend in Vientiane, Laos, he got sick on the first night and kept vomiting heavily. I managed to take him to a hospital after an entire night of searching, gesturing to Laotians, and riding motorbikes with total strangers. I felt like a hero that night.
