I am a traveler, I had visited many countries. Love cultures. Left Anthropology studies and experienced lots of cultures by myself. I love art. I love people. And I have pictures from many countries as well.
I worked in Advertising for many years as an art director. I use to take analogue photography and did many studios for actors and models. I did trade art and furniture from Bali to Mexico in the early 90´s, that was fun, interesting, I sort of introduce the first Indonesian products in my country.
I am a Soto zen practitioner, so I live in some zen temples in the States.
So I am a visual oriented person who enjoys the present moment. Likes to share time and experiences so we enrich each other. My lates interest is ceramics. Always love them and now learning to play with clay!
I study Japanese Tea Ceremony as well.
I love to eat and to cook, I enjoy food from all countries!

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

I am planning a trip back to Bali. And I will visit Hong Kong and Vietnam for the first time. My niece Brenda Alvarez introduce me to couchsurfing, and I am exited about this new way of traveling. New for me. As I love to travel and enjoy meeting new people and learn about their own cultures. I find it fascinating.

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

I like all music. From classical (special Mozart) to Balines Gamelan . From Cuban Music to Jazz. From Rock to Tangos too, I use to dance a lot trance techno music . Also love silence.

I like to see films in the big screen. I was married to a Hungarian film director. I like Bergman, Chen Kaige, Kurosawa. Buñuel, and many others. I don´t like horror films.
Under the sheltering sky is one of my favorites. Diva. Barry Lindon. Brazil. El amor en Tiempos de Cólera.

Books...Zen and Creativity from Daido Loori, one of my favorite books as Zen Mind, Beginners Mind by Shunryu Suzuki. I grew up reading Albert Camus, love The Stranger.
