ABOUT ME

I'm a good guy, as easy-going as anyone you'll ever meet. I like a wide variety of things - such as art, all kinds of music, birds, spiritual things, and non-fiction books. I love life! I enjoy helping people. I'm quiet at times, but I'm always thinking. I enjoy stimulating conversation, and can usually add to it from my unique point of view. I guess I learn more when I'm listening, and there's not much else I'd rather do than learn!

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that there is too much complaining in the world. I avoid negativity. I love to barter. I believe that in helping others we help ourselves. I think that love is the most important thing in life. I believe that all living things are connected to one another. I think this world is a most benevolent place.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm hoping to find a short-term place to crash in late August and early September '08. I have no couch at present, but I know that will change.

I'm new to couchsurfing, but I'm glad it exists. It's an awesome concept!

Interessi

I love appreciating & creating art - I'm best at portraiture. Recycling is great for the soul! I'm big into animal rights, and am close to become totally vegetarian. I find great benefit from the use of ginseng and other Chinese herbs. They help with handling stress, stamina & longevity. Daily exercise has become very important to me recently. I enjoy studying the field of life-extension, and try to see myself growing younger. I've always been fascinated with crystal quartz and it's energy.
Avant-garde or obscure music from any genre is something I can't get enough of. I like to do crosswords and other word puzzles. I like to listen to AM radio, as well as NPR (especially Larry Meillor @ 11:00 am). I've had a lot of fun breeding parakeets for pet stores a few years back. One pet budgie I owned knew about 75 words!

Musica, film e libri

I greatly appreciate most music, though Rockabilly is my favorite! I read a lot of non-fiction books when I have the chance. I like to watch documentaries and biographical films.
