i'm ronja. this is my first time actually using couchsurfing and i'd love to meet some of you guys..
i have an open mind toward new people and their interests and would like to talk about niche topics and random thoughts.. i love going outside and absorb the beauty of nature, but i very much love anything culture related too! i'd like to learn new languages along the way and to learn about the history, rituals, clothing and cuisine of the place i'm visiting. i really like to cook and food is definitely the way to my heart, so it could be fun to cook together:) i like many more things like biology or art and i get enthusiastic about many topics, so a bit of info dumping is very welcome. i could help you out with cooking (as mentioned), learning the languages i speak and i've worked in wood restoration before, so i could maybe repair certain things around your place if you'd want me to.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

because travelling this way makes it so much easier to actually get to know a place and immerse yourself in the local culture. i love meeting new people on my travels, but especially locals that i can get to know, learn a couple things from.., who can show me around and give me some tips for my stay. it's just a different experience when you're staying with someone and live in a *home* for the time there. that being said, i have to acknowledge that it's good for my wallet too:)

Music, Movies, and Books

i love listening to hip hop (old school mainly), but depending on the situation or season i listen to other genres as well. a bit of jazz and classical music in fall, some rnb/soul and tech house in summer. for me it's about the vibe and i like hearing the music of the people i'm with.
movies and series: as long as they're not too cheesy or are just about the action, but don't really have a plot, i'm probably gonna be fine watching them.

great conversations, enthusiasm regarding niche topics, languages and probably some stuff about architecture if i can remember it. i could also show you some recipes and could help you fix things.
