About Me

CURRENT MISSION

A Mission? That's a needle in a haystack... and I'm still looking for the haystack

ABOUT ME

I may be learning about Law, but I am a student of
love, life, and laughter.

PHILOSOPHY

To laugh often and much;

To win the respect of intelligent people
and the affection of children;

To earn the appreciation of honest critics
and endure the betrayal of false friends;

To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others;

To leave the world a bit better,
whether by a healthy child, a garden patch
or a redeemed social condition;

To know even one life has breathed easier
because you have lived.

This is to have succeeded.

Interests

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm interested in anything I can sing terribly to,
which is just about everything.

Teach, Learn, Share

At this very moment, many other lessons are being taught to many people across the world, so it's hard to write something here that is not cliché.
So, rather than trying to fill my message with big words and lots of inspirational quotes, I want to present you all with 11 pieces of advice that I have learned throughout life, because 10 would definitely be cliché.

1. Believe in something.
Whether it be God, karma or the Red Sox.
But most importantly, believe in yourselves.
If you can't invest in yourself, what can you invest in?

2. Fall in love.
I don't necessarily mean the romantic Cinderella kind,
but rather find a passion. You need to learn what you love, discover what makes you tick, find your fire.

3. Try new things.
Life has so much to offer us if we take chances,
don't miss out for fear or apathy.

4. Embrace change.
It often takes more courage to change your opinion
than to stick to it.

5. Read a book.
Turn off the T.V. and pick up something to read.
You don't have to burn books to destroy a culture.
Just get people to stop reading them.

6. Travel.

7. Remember loved ones.
A loved one is a connection to life,
a tie to the past, a road to the future,
the key to sanity in a totally insane world.

8. Don't swallow the key.
It's okay to lock yourself in sometimes,
but keep your key within reach.

9. Bite off more than you can chew.
Just don't drink more than you can handle.

10. Keep the world beautiful.
Speak kindly and don't be wasteful.

11. Dream.
To accomplish great things,
you must not only act, but also dream;
not only plan, but also believe.
