ABOUT ME

I love: lighting, contradictions, the small details in life, awkwardness, jewelry boxes, seeing old people smile, thunderstorms, diamond studs, chocolate, mystery, the color red, unoriginal beds, summer rain, journals, the oceanside, sunrises more than sunsets, Rothko paintings even though the entire canvas appears to be one shade, the flavor spicy, the look of wet asphalt, mangos, messy rooms, fast cars, street vendors in India, novels set in the 19th century, champagne, dark hair, caravans, haikus, poetry in Spanish, owning films that I have never watched, obnoxious people, spotless clean bathrooms, original ceilings, aviator glasses, trains, the idea of getting stranded, freshly painted toes, ripping cloth, waterfalls, sandalwood, narrow cobble stone streets, people with “violent” tendencies, silly challenges, the sound of wind chimes, the feeling of nervousness, day dreaming, the sound of foreign ambulances, sense of humor, peppery wine, the 1–California highway, open air markets, aching muscles, the idea of karma, kind acts, arbitrary arguments, running into physicists, funnel cakes, random coincidences, protests, airports, redwood trees, odd people, castles, jungles, elephants, pointless conversations, New Yorkers, orchids, coconut rice, ancient ruins, spiral staircases, Asian foot massages (the best), jet fighter aircraft, driving aimlessly, dinner parties, adventures…ah…and I could probably come up with much more.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

well official, i still have to have my first experience... but informally, i have stayed w/ friends of friends... or people met through travels and I enjoy people that take the time appreciate local culture/local lifestyle. Its the best way for me to experience the place.
