I love open conversation.
In terms of interests it is very eclectic, I can do a lot of things a little bit. Now the desire is to deepen my ability in certain things. Keep the theory, add more practice. Self-reliance. Meditation. Creating things.
Open eyes, awake, "everything is possible all the time" that is the aim. To welcome everything, is another aim. Attracting good by being good.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To share what I have, to give and thereby gain.
I am using the website much less these days, cannot help but feel the privatization and commercials are polluting the concept. Find me in other places :)
very many, philosophy, sociology, history, art, human beings in general, every type of lifestyle interests me. My topics in sociology are meaning making, through religion, technology, creativity, all are connected. Yes very broad :)
Music, Movies, and Books
Some directors I enjoy, Stanley Kubrick, Alejandro Jodorowsky, Wes Anderson, Michael Gondry, Richard Linklater etc.
I love music as well! If you do too we will no doubt make a great connection. I am into quite a different range of music; dutch, french and scandinavian Jazz, minimal/experimental/cool jazz, pop music, electronic music, deephouse, techno, minimal, folk. To name some, Radiohead, Bonobo, Erik Satie, Skuli Sverisson, Air, Zero 7, Blockhead, Chinese Man, Lou Reed, Velvet underground, The cramps, The Kinks, Royksopp, Spinvis, Devendra Banhart, there is so much good music out there!
Favourite writers are Jack Kerouac, Milan Kundera and Herman Hesse
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
did a walking meditation with some people in the park, while at it I sneaked a peak: all the people looked like zombies doling around. But then when someone came jogging by I realized how weird thát is!
Teach, Learn, Share
Especially interested to improve practical skills, sewing, woodworking, gardening, cooking. If you can teach me a good recipe would be great!
And to jam together with a good player is very welcome! I play a little guitar and banjo, would like to learn djembe, and flute
I enjoy to teach you something. Lets see what comes up. some yoga poses, Juggling, or a good recipe
I might convince you to start writing, like personal diary style, stream of consciousness letting it out
