About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To free myself from the chains of the state. O.k. not really, but it seems to be a side affect of learning the truth. My real mission is to enjoy my time here with family and friends. I always enjoy meeting new people from around the world, so here I am

ABOUT ME

I'm an easy going fun loving type of guy. I have a strong will but don't impose it upon people. I really enjoy being outside, hiking, biking, camping, swiming of fishing at one of the near by lakes or chilling with friends around my backyard fire pit. I'm a pub guy not a club guy. I am an honest man, I do not believe little white lies are o.k. and I do not suffer liars well. I am a full time single father of a 15 year old boy (yes I was 18 when he was born!)He's kind and smart so don't worry about a crazy teen messing up your visit. I have a TV that I never watch although I do enjoy a good movie now and then. I really enjoy live music and have many family members that perform (the pub near by has great bands every weekend too). I have not traveled much but living where I do has given me the opertunity to make many friends from around the world. I believe in personal sovereignty and a voluntary society therefore I do not participate in democracy, communism, nationalism or any other functions of the state as these are all designed to strip me of my liberty and freedom. My back yard is 420 friendly(this is BC after all =) I guess I could go on and on but what's the fun in that? Best to have a little mystery me thinks. More then anything though I love being with family and freinds, I live for this.

PHILOSOPHY

The initiation of force is immoral. I believe in the concept of univerialy preferable behaviour (I really enjoy explaining this). Basicly I belive in the truth and don't do things to people that I do not want done to myself. There is love and there is fear, I live my life in love and enjoy my experience learning as an integral part of the infinite.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I don't have much time to travel so I have decided to bring to world to me!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new to the concept, but thought having people from around the world stay at my place would help me figure out where I might want to visit in the future. Will you be the first to surf the spare room? The idea is exciting to me I always love having guests over.

Interests

One of my bigest interests is alternative electrical power generation. I am curently working on making the new house my father is building 100% self sufficient. My other big interest is using the law to expose misbehaving public servants who lie in an attempt rob people of their money and liberty. I spend a fair bit of time in court using video recorded evidence to do this. I am suported by my neighborhood and friends in this endeavor as the corruption and lies adversely affect us all and I have enough knowledge of the law to make a difference.

Music, Movies & Books

To many to list, ask me.

One Amazing Thing I've Done

So this story is not for everyone so I apologize if you find it disturbing, but it IS the most amazing thing I have ever done.

After having 2300 pounds of marble fall on my leg at work, breaking it and twisting it so it was 180 degrees from where it belonged. The ambulance got lost and took 1\2 an hour to get to me. For whatever reason (fear, shock) nobody would do what I said to stop the bleeding. I lay in a pool of blood half the size of my body. Nobody there thought I would live. The ambulance medics did not think I would live. The doctor did not think I would live. But I was not ready to die at 20, so I lived! I know many of you will think it was the doctor or the medic that did the amazing thing here (they were amazing) but with the amount of blood I lost I should have been dead before the medic arrived. It was my will that kept me from slipping away, I remeber quite clearly having the choice. As horrible as this trama was I would not trade this experience in, as it has taught me how precious a gift life is. I would not be the man I am today if it had not happened. =)

Teach, Learn, Share

I am always learning. I have found teaching is one of the best ways to acomplish this. My profile eludes to some of what I have to share. My mind is open, what do you have to share with me?
