To learn and constantly add to my perspective
I am currently living and working in Washington, DC. In 2010, I had the privilege of living in Amman, Jordan for 4 months and couch-surfing with awesome hosts in Israel and Palestine. Studying international affairs at my university, and taking an interest in world politics, culture, and language, I look forward to immersing myself in cultures and communities different from the ones I've grown up in in New York and Washington DC. I hope to come back from my trips a better and more enriched person.
My trip to Europe a few summers ago was utterly amazing, and I am truly grateful for all the CouchSurfers who offered to take Sam and I up and show us around town. Thanks again!!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
For now, surfing, but eventually, I hope to host surfers of my own.
Had an amazing trip through Western Europe with my friend Sam and 6 amazing hosts. We traveled from London and found ourselves in Portsmouth, Normandy, Paris, Munich, Fussen, Berlin, Potsdam, and Dresden.
Many things, in particular international relations, politics, history, culture, language, food, sports
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Wadi Rum. Petra. Tower of London. Montmatre. Neuschwanstein. WWI Aircraft Hangar. The Reichstag. Zwinger. Climbing El Castillo, a giant pyramid in ruins of the Mayan city of Chichen Itza in the Yucatan, Mexico. Another is my midnight journey into Jerusalem's Old City. My friends and I, too excited to stop and ask for directions, ended up walking around the entire city before finding the desired entrance through Dung Gate. I'd like to think I was following the path of thousands of years of pilgrims and conquerors who sought entrance into the beautiful and magical city.
