Hello everyone,

I am Rosanna Robinson, 23 years old female from London, England.

I would describe myself as an ambitious, intelligent, kind hearted, hardworking, down to earth person with a great sense of humour / personality.

My love for travelling to different places means that I get to meet new people from various backgrounds / cultures which I love. I really enjoy getting to know people from all aspects of life and sharing / experiencing their ways of life.

Additionally, I enjoy going going out and seeing new places, eating out at restaurants, going to the cinema and shopping.

This summer, I will be participating in the Rio Olympics 2016 in Brazil as a Ceremonies Volunteer Performer in which I will perform in 3 main ceremonies: the Olympics opening, the Olympics closing and the Paralympics opening ceremony.

The people that inspire myself in life are: my mom, my family / friends, Martin Luther King, Nelson Mandela, Rosa Parks, Malcolm X, Mahatma Ghandi.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing because this website offers a lot in terms of meeting new people from all over the world and connecting through learning about their cultures, backgrounds and their way of life. This is very important for me as I love getting to know other people and also this is something that you would not get for example if I stayed in a hotel.

I also believe that Couchsurfing will give me the opportunity to make travelling a memory that I will never forget and a chance to meet amazing people who will become a true friend in the long term to keep in touch with.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I performed in the London 2012 Olympics (closing ceremony) as a Cast Volunteer.

This was one of the highlights in my life so far and an amazing experience which I will always remember.
