ABOUT ME

Hi everybody! I'm gonna introduce myself. I am friendly, polite and open minded. I am most of time in a very good mood and I can be a bit shy if I don't know you yet, but with my close friends I am usually funny and witty. I love learning new languages and new cultures. That's why I am a translator for English and German, though nowadays I am working as an English teacher in Ibiza. I love communication and honesty. I love people who are honest, practical and uncomplicated. What else? I love sports in general. My favourites: paddle tennis, swimming, dancing. I used to do windsurf long time ago, but right now I am interested in kitesurfing. That's why I am heading for Las Bahamas and California, to improve my English and to go kitesurfing. I also like reading and all kind of cinema. And I love cooking and learning about the cuisine from other countries. So... When shall we meet?! ;-)

Interests

As I work as a teacher, I have lots of holidays: Christmas, Easter, etc, so I take advantage of this situation and travel as often as I can. This year, for example, I was learning kite surf in Vietnam - at Christmas- in Gran Canaria - at Easter-, and in Fuerteventura last February. I also went skiing to Andorra a couple of times this winter and even in spring, luckily there were many snowfalls this year! When I am at home I play paddle tennis with my friends and I like going out with them, for a drink or to the cinema. Sometimes I cook for them or everybody cooks something for dinner and we sing karaoke at my place. I also like very much singing. Sometimes we also go on excursions around the island - Ibiza is beautiful! I love reading too. And dancing salsa! ...And, and, and... :-D. One last thing you should know just in case. Although I am from Ibiza and like going out and dancing, I don't like so much the world - should I rather say "mafia"?- of the clubs here in Ibiza.... I prefer other sides of the island, like its beauty and quietness during the winter.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

As I went to Granada for the first time I experienced the so called "Stendhal syndrome" When I saw the Alhambra, this is, I almost started to cry! It is such a beautiful place, that it was difficult to bear so much beauty! I felt very excited! And yesterday I felt again the same as I was visiting Midtown here in New York! The view of all the impressive skyscrapers was jaw dropping.
