ABOUT ME

My favorite hobby is swing dancing. I am most proud of having developed a knack for running because I never thought I would be able to run long distances (although I have no physical ailment). My job is awesome! I love it! I am a teacher of only refugees and immigrants in Math for their first year in the USA. I enjoy experiencing authentic culture and relationships.

With a recent move, I cannot host anymore. But I can enjoy the company of other over coffee (or something else).

Interests

After a difficult day at work, I would enjoy a run, a nap and swing dancing. Although if I am pressed for time, then I would skip the run or the nap.

Alice in Wonderland with Johnny Depp - I enjoy doing the impossible. The Blind Side - the characters were believable, the plot amazing! Courageous - Wow! Awesome mix of hilarious and sad scenes, both made me cry!

Favorite Book: The Bible - Jesus is the Word!

Another book I enjoy: Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers - I canceled my plans for the next day the first time I read the book. It was worth it!
