CURRENT MISSION

I am a writer. I am taking a month off to travel, on a leap of faith and some money to work on my manuscript.

ABOUT ME

I am an outgoing, passionate, and vivacious person. A free spirit, a dreamer, and a doer. I am a firm believer in following one's dreams to the edge of the world--even if it does not exist. I am a hard worker with a fierce will of steel. I find the simple things in life just as fulfilling as the challenging; sometimes one of my favorite things to do is watch the sun set as the room fades to black. After obtaining my graduate degree, my life has been leaps of faith and cognition. I finished up teaching college in New York City, and went to work on a whale watch boat on Cape Cod, MA.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I intend to be a couch-surfer for now. Maybe, in the future when I am not living with roommates, I could host. I would love to do it, unfortunately, for the present, that may be tough. But someday...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Well, when I did my undergraduate in Iowa, I spent the summer on friend's couches in my hometown of Illinois, in Northern Illinois, back in Iowa again, then back to my house. Finally, upon coming back to school, a week before college began, I took off for Colorado with a guy I liked, and we road tripped throughout it. As simple as it sounds, it was a blast! I loved the weightlessness of drifting from place to place. I loved the way traveling enables both myself and others to open up to our absolute freest.
