About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To raise smart, healthy, independant children to adulthood, and to have a lot of fun along the way.
ABOUT ME
We are a family of four, Alan & Rosemary in our early 50's and the girls in their preteens. We live in Montana and are an outdoorsy bunch. We live here because we love the fresh air, wide open spaces and love to hike, camp, canoe/kayak, ski and run. We also love to read, learn about new places and travel when we can. We went to Costa Rica for 4 months and learned Spanish, lived with locals, traveled throughout the country on local busses. We're birder watchers. The girls love to dance, gymnastics, read, ski/snowboard, play with their friends and write.
PHILOSOPHY
The glass if half full. Be nice to others. Use your manners. Meet new people and learning their story. Live and eat healthy. Live lightly on this earth. Life is to short to hold grudges.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We are new to couch surfing and looking forward to meeting new people. If we can't travel, we hope to bring the world to us.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
We are new to couch surfing as we had a young guest who turned us onto it. Our kids are excellent travelers, well behaved and respectful. When we have more room in our house, we plan to be a host.
Interests
What we love is friendships, nature and music. We spend our time with friends, camping, hiking, meals around a table, reading. We live a simple, healthy, without excess lifestyle. Rosemary works for an environmental non-profit and Alan is a carpenter/builder. We recycle, we conserve energy, we bicycle commute and strive to reduce our carbon footprint.
