ABOUT ME

I have traveled extensively, living overseas for the past 8 years, mostly in India, Thailand and Turkey. Sorry about the picture. Working with computers is not my strong point, as you can see.........This picture was taken in the Himalayas while on a trek. I am an older woman with a youthful spirit. I love life and am grateful to Life for all that has been given, both the pleasures and the painful lessons offered me.

PHILOSOPHY

I guess you could say that I generally have a philosophical bent to my personality as I look to the deeper issues of life / the quantum physics of it all and how that relates to spirituality and how I wish to live my life. Hard to describe, but I think theres a deeper meaning to life experiences, whether we understand that meaning or not as it happens. At the same time, I am also a free spirit and like to really enjoy life and live it to the fullest.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am vegetarian, and so I tend to eat simple meals. Id be glad to cook up a rice and veg stir fry meal, or throw a chicken in the oven for you if you would like, and I do a great job at washing dishes etc.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I just signed up for Couchsurfing yesterday, and so havent had any experience with this so far. But a few years ago I traveled through Europe with Hospitality Club and Also with Women Welcome Women Worldwide and met so many wonderful and open hearted people it really touched me alot. It gave me hope for humanity after all. I had a negative experience with a man in eastern Turkey which was a bit of a wake up call for me that I do not wish to repeat again.

I am very interested in Holistic healing modalities, yoga, Meditation, Dance, Film, environmental issues, meeting like minded people and sharing ideas.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music, movies, and books. I am an avid reader, although carrying a library of at least 5 or 6 books around in my backpack got really old, and so I have had to hone down on this tendency in recent years. I love music, especially international music, and so have had a rich experience in the music field since my travels began. I like Film and movies and documentaries, etc

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I continue to marvel that I am able to travel the world as I have been able to do over the years.

I am an Astrologer. I am licensed to work on sore backs, necks and shoulders. I love to learn new things of interest.
