About Me

Hey there,

I'm from England. Here in New Zealand on a 2 year working holiday visa. So far I did some wwoofing just outside of Auckland and worked in Nelson for a couple of months.

While in New Zealand I want to try and see as much of this beautiful country as possible, and hopefully meet some wonderful people along the way to share some memories with.

So I've lived in Canada for 2 years, travelled around Europe went home to work to fund south East Asia and Australia before winding up here. I work in hospitality to fund my travels and enable me to meet a variety of people, all of whom are inspiration for the next trip or adventure.

I enjoy reading, crochet, connect 4, cooking, people, hiking, ice cream, adventures, secrets and stories.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

So, I'm new to this. Brand new. I've met people since I've been in New Zealand who have used couchsurfing a lot, and they've all had positive experiences. Great hosts, great stories, great fun. So I thought I'd give it a go and see what happens...

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite book tends to be whichever book I'm reading at the time, when you're so enthralled by what you're reading you struggle to put it down. You are sure to pick it up at every possible opportunity., and you're actually glad when people are late so you get to read a few more pages.

Movies I'm a big fan of The Prestige, The Labyrinth, Rocky Horror, Disney. If I'm honest I feel I'm a little behind on the whole movie scene.

And music totally depends on your mood. I enjoy almost everything, I'm just not too partial to metal or techno.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This is a daunting question. I'm not entirely sure how to answer it.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach you how to crochet a square. Which you could later crochet to another square. If you keep doing this for long enough it will create a blanket. And that will keep you warm. It'd be worth it, I promise.

I'd love to learn ukulele, French and Spanish. But I'm sure there's lots of other things that would interest me that you could teach me about.

We could share experiences, food, laughter, stories.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share some yummy vegan cooking.
And y'know laughter and that^^^
