ABOUT ME

I've lived in Iowa for 22 years, minus college. A little depressing, but the more I'm here, the more I appreciate it--can't see storms or sunsets like this anywhere else.
I graduated high school in 2003, went to college at Southwest Baptist University until 2005, then transferred to Drury University and graduated in 2007 with majors in English and in Writing and a minor in Global Studies.
I work in Editorial for a publishing company--pretty much what I've always dreamed of doing. I love it, love reading, love having a part in book-making.
I have two brothers, both currently live in Chicago. My parents live about an hour away and our family is a pretty close one.
I'm always cold. I love running. I anticipate travelling. I'm committed to truth. I live a day at a time. I drink too much coffee. I hope to meet interesting people and do interesting things. I believe in the Bible, in Jesus and redemption. I watch sunsets and starry skies. I miss old friends. I dream of writing full time--of striving to make the ordinary seem just a little less mundane. I wake up to music. I recycle pop cans. I breathe best when it rains. I strive to finish what I start. I read. I talk. I listen.
