About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to cram my life with as many laughs as possible.... well, what are you waiting for? Make me laugh!

ABOUT ME

I have dark hair, blue eyes and a tendency to exaggerate. I have trouble saying anything without some vain attempt at making you laugh. It's who I am. I hope you find it an endearing, fun-loving trait

PHILOSOPHY

I am learning that there is no single world... everyone on earth sees things differently and i will never live long enough to hear about them all!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I remember waking up on a couch, in a house with no furniture, or walls.
I couldn't even remember the name of the person I slept next to, or why I got the couch and she slept on the floor. All I know is I was still dressed for 'the races', and she was a friend of my sisters.
Needless to say, this was an unplanned couch surfing experience! Most other houses have at least two walls, if not all of them intact!

Interests

Writing, architecture, acting, pulling pranks on unsuspecting bystanders, traveling, Rugby, Swimming and Water Polo, (summer), skiing, kayaking, handstands, but most importantly... MUSIC!

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC: This is a personal obsession, so bear with me... The Arctic Monkeys, The Red Paintings, The Strokes, The Living End, The red Hot Chili Peppers (having a "the" seems to help), MUSE and Silverchair to name a few. (The Butterfly Effect, Wolfmother, Kisschasey, The Mars Volta and QOTSA for a few more). I won't bore you by filling my whole freakin' page with band names either. Just because I know who Devendra Banhart is, doesn't make me some sort of music God. (Man, I hate muso wankers. They poison the entire industry. They need to get over themselves).
FILMS: Definately Donnie Darko. That put me in a trance... awesome! Also Pulp Fiction, Matrix, Your mum's home videos, Fight Club, The Shawshank Redemption, The Producers, Lock, Stock, Ronin, Tais Toi! and anything else with Depardieu
BOOKS: Just getting through A Year in Provence (yes, the one in paperback with no Russel Crowe involved at all). Then I'll be into Bon Apettit!, Almost French and, hello - there's a theme going here - Lonely Planet's Guide to Walking in France.
