Appreciating every moment.
Happy, ambitious and and spontaneous
I like to think that all that I need will find its way to me . Although I don't believe in such thing as fate, I'm sure that everything happens for a reason.
I believe in good in people and I try not to judge.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Always ready to host if possible, always happy to use a couch when traveling.
Although I have met a lot of couchsurfers in my life (most of them fellow travelers), I must say that I haven't used couchsurfing as a platform that much myself.
I have made many wonderful friends from all around the world who are always willing to host a friend in need. In many cases all I needed to do in order to find a place to crash, was to find the right person from my facebook list and send her/him a message.
Until now I've been more active on bewelcome.org
I'm interested in learning. I like to think that my day has been successful if I've learned at least one new thing. It can be anything - knowledge or a skill. I just like to feel that I'm somehow developing.
Although it's usually on a very low scale - this little hobby of mine is providing me with new and exciting things on daily basis. It keeps me moving and exploring.
Music, Movies, and Books
I grew up in a world of books, they remind me of home.
Some of the dearest ones to me are: "The Picture of Dorian Gray" by Oscar Wilde, "The Master and Margarita" by Mikhail Bulgakov, "The Yacoubian Building" by Alaa-Al-Aswany, "Autumn Ball" by Mati Unt etc.
I also adore Honoré de Balzac and Astrid Lindgren.
Music - I don't like to put tags on things. This also includes music. I can consume pretty much everything.
Movies - A perfect movie, just as well as a perfect book, makes me see things from a different perspective. I don't watch movies that much and I rarely go to the cinema, but I love film festivals.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was working at a refugee center in Greece a few years ago. It was just for a short period but it was a truly eye-opening experience for me. I got to know the people and their stories. Some of them had been famous and wealthy in their home countries. Suddenly they were left with nothing. Some of them had been kept in refugee centers for years. Even though their living conditions and chances to get an asylum were poor, they managed to stay positive.
That was the time I met the true heroes.
Teach, Learn, Share
I could tell you for hours about Eramsus+ and all the awesome opportunities it provides.
I could also teach you about textile printing, felting etc.
