Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm very new to this, I was recommended to try it by my boyfriend who said it was one of the best things he has ever done!

Interests

Many things, traveling, dreaming, making things, drawing, dancing, hanging out with friends, eating complicated soups, meeting new people, reading books, expanding my mind, public transport, trying to master new skills (most recently knitting).

Music, Movies, and Books

Currently reading - Scanner Darkly. I haven't read much lately but I loved reading His Dark Materials series, any book by Murakami and the Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy.

I tend to be very fussy about films, often finding it difficult to sit still through them (too much to be doing). I enjoyed watching Goodbye Lenin, The Pianist, I am Sam, I Heart Hukabees.

I like listening to music with great lyrics you can sing along to really loudly in the shower. I have a bit of an obsession with 60's music. I'll list some artists anyways; The Clash, Buzzcocks, The Jam, Rolling Stones, Led Zepplin, Otis Redding, Marvin Gaye, Dusty Springfield, Cyndi Lauper, The verve, Oasis, Silver chair, Janis Joplin, the Moody Blues, Grateful Dead, Smashing Pumpkins, Queens of the Stone Age, Mr Scruff, Dolly Parton, Bob Dylan, Radiohead, Aretha Franklin, Portishead, Blondie, The Fugees, Deftones, Jonny Cash, Jefferson airplane, Chilli Peppers, Massive Attack, Bob Marley, Guns n Roses, Pixies, The Cranberries, Rootz Manuva, Kings of Leon, Simon and Garfunkel, Amy Winehouse.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm finding it difficult to pin point an exact event or time since I find most days pretty amazing, it was pretty great meeting my nephew for the first time.
