ABOUT ME

The path I've traveled in life goes something like this...

Taught about the wonders of travelling at a young age.
Spent a summer in Thailand for an internship.
Earned my degree in Economics, Psychology and Entrepreneurship from UNC.
Discovered my passion for photography, technology, and user experience.
Started working as a Management Consultant in 2006.
Switched to a software start-up to work in customer experience analytics in 2008.
Moved to Melbourne for a year in 2011.

Doing what I can to live on my own terms.

PHILOSOPHY

To experience life while young and healthy. Don't plan on waiting for retirement to get my travel on.

Budget permitting I'm always looking to travel. If at home, the extra room is almost always available.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Still consider myself relatively new to CouchSurfing. Charlotte isn't really a hot destination so requests have been minimal.

Consider myself to have a very eclectic music taste and open to almost anything other than hardcore rap and deep country. Really enjoy reading blogs, mystery novels and the occasional non-fiction.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Visiting Thailand 6 months after the Tsunami was an amazing experience. It was very refreshing to see how quickly people can bounce back from something so terrible and be optimistic and hopeful.
