Having lived and worked in London for the last 10 years I'm about ready for an adventure! So I'm taking a career break and travelling across Canada (and a bit of Alaska) working with different hosts through a web site called Help Exchange. My plan is to meet new people, see and do a whole load of different things and get some fresh air!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'll be travelling on my own, so really want to meet new people and have some sense of 'home', even if for just for a day or two. I'll be working with 'help exchange' for some of the time, and some Couchsurfing in between. This will be better than staying on my own all the time, giving me chance to get to know a place and culture in a much more personal and real way.

I like movies with happy endings. Although when I make myself watch other films I really enjoy them, the most recent 'other film' was Captain Philips... really good!
