About Me

CURRENT MISSION

freedom.

ABOUT ME

I'm a very friendly, optimistic person who is very easy to get on with. I love to try new things, meet new people and have a laugh. They would also tell you I love a bit of a social justice campaign and am incredibly laid back. Yellow is mu favourite colour and i LOVE live music.

PHILOSOPHY

Live life with open hands, take every opportunity and be thankful.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None- but met lots of people in Spain who recommended it so am excited to give couch surfing a try!

Interests

I love working with young people, i've been teaching social studies in an inner city school in London for the last three years (a fun teacher i promise) and doing youth work for the last 7/8 years. I also love going to gigs and hearing live music or spoken word. I spend a remarkable amount of time sitting in coffee shops and having a chat with people. I also just like walking about, especially in parks and love a bit of lomography (old school photography!). Last but not least- i imagine like everyone here- i love to travel and get out into the big bad world.

Music, Movies, and Books

So much! Love Wez Anderson films (moonrise kingdom is his latest) and love too much music to list here, anything from chilled out accousitc, folk to electro, indie...so long as you can chill out to it or dance to it and its semi-good..ill probably be a fan.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I just spent a month walking the camino to Santiago de Comostella (800km) - most days left me pretty awestuck but walking under the stars and then seeing the most beautiful sunrises every morning was pretty sweet. At the end of the camino was a place called 'finnisterre' which literally means 'the end of the earth' and ive never seen an ocean horizon like it in my life- this was pretty incredible too.

Teach, Learn, Share
