In 2017 I quit my job and thru-hiked the 2,189.8 mile Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Maine, using the journey to raise awareness for a rare and progressive lung disease called cystic fibrosis.

I am the founder of a nonprofit organization called Adventure Heroes, dedicated to helping individuals with mental or physical challenges to discover a happier, healthier self through the healing powers of nature.

I‘m currently writing a book to share my story of personal transformation and my Appalachian Trail journey, so people can feel inspired to find their passion and pursue it. I am also in the process of getting my health and life coach certifications.

I live a minimalist lifestyle and love all things nature, photography, writing, meditation, and helping others.
