I am a Californian here in Texas for the summer doing an internship with BASF. I have lived in California for my entire life, and am going to school in Santa Barbara for chemical engineering. I dabble in hiking, exploring, water sports, working out, video games, snowboarding, programming, reading, philosophy, and pretty much anything else that I can use my time for. I am a respectable, respectful individual who values the people around me and their mental and emotional states. Extroverted describes me in some circumstances, while introverted describes me in others. I am a helper in that anything I know how to do, I want to help other people do as well. I love to cook food and listen to music, and occasionally watch shows like House of Cards, Suits, Breaking Bad, etc.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I am looking to begin my life as a traveler and explore the world that I live in. I have the urge to pack up and go go go until I don't know where I am anymore, and then lose myself to find myself. Couchsurfing seems to be an incredible community with people giving to each other and making the world more accessible to everyone who wants to explore. A friend suggested it, and I am excited to participate in it and contribute!

Movies: Dark Knight series, Django Unchained, Shawshank Redemption, and a few others. Still developing the breadth of my movie knowledge!

Music: Pretty much any music. I will listen to classical, classic rock, alternative, pop, rap, country, African percussion, you name it.

Books: I need to read more. Currently working on Fountainhead, 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, Hardwiring Happiness, The Intelligent Investor, etc. Harry Potter series and many others!
