I grew up on the coast of North Carolina. After getting my bachelors I decided to take a leap across the pond and work on my Masters in western Germany.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I attend multiple conferences a year and am now trying to spend more time in the cities than what my school will pay for. I figure couch surfing is a nice student budget friendly way of doing so.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like metal and rock bands, but admittedly most of my favorites were started in the 90s or early 2000s. I'll watch and enjoy any kind of movie or show as long as it isn't a movie designed specifically for kids. I don't read much, but when I am home I help my 5 year old step sister read her take home books.
