My name is Ryan and I am and English traveller! I have just recently started my travels, going through Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam for about 2 months, then on to Australia for a year. As I am new to this, I can't wait for what's going to come. I am open-minded to everything that will come my way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing because I always want to meet new people and experience whatever they have to offer. I love making new friends and talking to other people from all over the world, hearing about the countries, lifestyles and cultures. Also, I'm doing this travelling gig on my own, so would never say no to company.

Interests

Music and Photography are my biggest interests. I am an experienced musician and I always look forward to the opportunity to play in front of others. I also have a degree in photography, which makes my always want to explore.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am open to all styles of music, but my favourite would have to be indie/rock music. Bands like Foals, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Biffy Clyro, Foo Fighters, Arctic Monkeys, hopefully that gives an insight to my music taste! I read mostly thrillers, can't beat getting a squeaky bum because of an intense read. I watch so many movies I can't even pick a favourite, way way way to tough a question, but a few I could always watch are; Inception, Interstellar, The Revenant, Whiplash, actually I could literally keep going, but at least it gives you an idea!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Headlined a local music festival definitely has to be a highlight of mine. Playing music to a crowd of people singing along is an experience that is very hard to beat.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am fully open-minded to anything, as long as it isn't absolutely ridiculous. I want to experience everything I possibly can on my travels. I am also not a recluse, I see myself as someone who is very social and would always be joining in on conversations.
