My name is Ryan and I am 27 years old. I recently got laid off due to work being slow, so I am taking this time to travel. I am currently in Australia and want to see some of the more popular sites. I only have three months here, so while doing work exchanges I want to take short trips to some of the places I would like to see. I am staying in the glasshouse mountains at the current moment.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couch surfing to see what I can for as cheap as possible. I don't see the need to pay for a hotel room when there are people willing to let others stay with them for a fair amount of work. Also I feel hotels don't promote bonding with and meeting people. As I am traveling alone, I would like to meet as many people as possible and make friends all over the world. Also beer is rather expensive in Australia, so for the price I save on buying a room, I would much rather buy a beer or two for my host and I.

It is hard to narrow down to one of my favorites, however I think one of them would be buying a one way ticket to Australia and saying yes to everything that comes my way.

Most of my knowledge has to do with fitness, exercising and nutrition. However I am handy with a lot of small things and would be more than willing to help out with small tasks that I can.
