About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To learn as much of other culture as possible and leave a pleasant impression on the world.
ABOUT ME
My name is Ryan Garstang. I am an American currently living in the beautiful county of Suffolk, England. While living here, in the past two years, I have visited 14 other countries. I am sure every other user of this site sympathizes with me when I say experiencing other culture is an incredibly interesting and entertaining endeavor. I joined the Air Force at the age of 18 and have been exploring this beautiful, green rock ever since, and I do not plan on stopping any time soon. I am an entertainer. I loving having friends over to my house. I speak enough Spanish to get by.
Interests
I am a huge adrenaline junkie. If I'm not seeing the world, then I'm probably doing something crazy. I race go-karts, I ride a sport-bike, I play paintball, I love roller coasters, I love skiing, etc. I am very interested in aviation. I play the trumpet. I enjoy cooking. But most of all, I enjoy interacting with people.

Music, Movies, and Books
I am very into ska and classic rock. I love comedy films. I don't do much reading unfortunately. I'd like to, but I just never start, I guess.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
3. Hiking in the Lauterbrunnen valley, Switzerland was one of the most awe-inspiring things I've done. Lush green grass beneath towering, rocky cliff faces, beneath jagged, snowy mountain-tops, beneath a bright blue open sky. Pure heaven. The way the full moon shone into the valley at night was absolutely magical.
2. Tearing through the in-land, mountain roads in Costa Rica. Feeling the warm, moist, tropical air rush by you whilst drifting around high mountain cliffs with the Pacific Ocean laying so peacefully in the distance was, absolutely, one of my most favorite experiences. We stopped every now and then at a tiny little shack of a restaurant where proud locals would serve up fantastic meals and share stories.
1. I have done a lot of fun things in my life, but nothing compares to the pure thrill of skydiving. That moment before your feet leave the floor of the aircraft and you see the plane's wings disappear from your peripheral vision is the single greatest half of a second I can possibly imagine. I, of course, hope to be proven wrong.
