About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Live to learn another day

ABOUT ME

Most people think I'm pretty awesome (my verdict is still out on that one), and I'm incredibly easy to get along with. I'm looking for an adventure, as recent life has been filled with ennui. Also, I'm balding and compensating by growing more hair on my face.

PHILOSOPHY

If any life is sacred, then all life is sacred.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

This is my first time on couchsurfing, so I am using it to travel, but I intend on opening my couch to travelers when I return home.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

First time user, no stories thus far.

Interests

I love film (watching and making) and am an avid music lover. I enjoy conversations about the inane and cosmic (things that seem important but ultimately don't matter). Writing and reading are a couple of hobbies, and I could go on for days about video games (especially the Legend of Zelda series).

Music, Movies, and Books

Most music, especially prog rock/metal and jazz fusion stuff. Favorites are Dream Theater, Mars Volta, Incubus

Favorite movie: The Mummy (I know, guilty pleasure), but I'll watch any movie at least once.

I read a lot and forget most of the titles I've read. Ask me in person.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once saw one camel give another camel a golden shower (this was at a zoo). I've also been around most of the United States, which doesn't seem so amazing until I found out most of my friends had never even seen an ocean.

Teach, Learn, Share

I really want to learn about cultures and places that don't have America in the forefront of it's identity. I want to see how the rest of the world lives and functions and break out of the mental ball and chain that is the United States. If I have anything to teach, I hope you can find it.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have a pretty open-minded perspective of life. If you are trying to learn English, I'm your guy, as it's the only language I speak, so I've done my best to at least do it well.

Countries I’ve Visited

Iceland

Countries I’ve Lived In
