I'm a runner, and as long as I'm alive, I'm gonna run all over the world.

ABOUT ME

I'm young, but my parents have handed down to me an uncontrollable desire to travel the world. I enjoy running, hiking, sight-seeing, and making new friends. I get along well with pretty much every type of person out there, and I'm pretty sure I'm easy to talk to. I love to see the world, and I'm always open to new ideas. In my mind, the more we see the less we know, but the less we know the more we can really appreciate how incredible this world really is.

PHILOSOPHY

"For what it's worth: it's never too late...to be whoever you want to be. There's no time limit, stop whenever you want. You can change or stay the same, there are no rules to this thing. We can make the best or the worst of it. I hope you make the best of it. And I hope you see things that startle you. I hope you feel things you never felt before. I hope you meet people with a different point of view. I hope you live a life you're proud of. If you find that you're not, I hope you have the strength to start all over again."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have stayed with several people in their apartments using "AirBnB" but so far I haven't used couchsurfing.org at all. I'm pretty darn excited to start surfing, though!

Interests

My interests include anything outdoors, but at the same time I am a total social bug. I love running in particular, because it lets me see and explore the world at my own pace. I also enjoy golf, swimming, and playing frisbee. My faith is important to me, so I do enjoy going to see some churches every once in awhile. I love people that share my same passion for exploring the world. Additionally, I LOVE MY SPORTS TEAMS!!!

Music, Movies, and Books

I loooveeee music!!! Here are my favorite bands/artists: Oasis, The Temper Trap, Band of Horses, Guster, Jack Johnson, Augustana, Phoenix, The Royal Concept, Ben Folds, The Glitch Mob, Brad Paisley, Keith Urban, Skizzy Marz, Drake, Mac Miller, Tinie Tempah, Zedd.

Movies: I love movies, but it's always so hard for me to decide which one is my favorite. I guess I like the classics like Pulp FIction, Good Will Hunting, Shawshank Redemption, and all the Lord of the Rings movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This is such a hard decision to make. I've been a lot of places with a lot of friends, so hopefully none of my friends read this because some of them might feel a little cheated! I'd say my favorite trip in my life was probably when I explored Italy with my buddies from high school. They were my four best friends, and seeing all the historic and cultural sites of Italy with them was fantastic. Besides that, I've been to Ireland, Mexico, Nicaragua, Budapest, Prague, Germany, and Brussels. Pretty blessed to say that for a 19 year old!

Teach, Learn, Share

There's a whole plethora of things I could teach to people. I mean, I want to be a teacher, so it would make sense for me to want to teach people. If I could sum up everything I've learned or thought of in the past three years of my life (ever since I actually kept track of what I learn), then I would tell you that all of us only have a certain amount of time in this life, and what's important to me is how we use that time. Why would you waste it being sad or gloomy or angry at the world, when the only thing holding you back from being happy is yourself? Why would you spend time holding a grudge when you could be spending time with loved ones, or exploring the world and learning about life?
