I'm an architecture student starting my studies again after my exchange year in Canada. I want to live to the fullest and see and experience the world as much as possible. I understand the challenges traveling as a student with low budget and that's why I'd prefer host other students.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love traveling and meeting new people. Student budget just makes it a interesting chalenge where couchsurfing offers a perfect solution. I also belive that locals have the best stories, tips and ideas of what to do in their city. Through them one might find things to do and see that they didn't know even existed.

School makes my schedule slightly unpredictable so I keep my status in 'maybe accepting guests', but you can always ask. If I can't host you I'll inform you as soon as possible. When you send me a request please include a word 'Teekkari' in your message. Because I live alone, any man who sends me a request needs to have references. I'll appreciate same from women but don't demand it.

Music, Movies, and Books

There is songs I like in every music style, but I prefere rock, pop and melodic hevy. My Finnis favorits include Apulanta, Eppu Normaali, Apocalyptica, Kaija K and Sanni, internationally Queen, Joan Jett, My Chemical Romance, Ed Sheeran and some Japan and Korean bands for example: Baby Metal and Brown Eyed Girls.

I love fantasy books, but I read romantic novels for time to time. Name of the wind, Rick Riordan's books, Harry Potter, Robin Hobb's books, Temeraire searies, Nora Robert's detective books, etc. are my favorites.

My favorite movies I have only been able to watch once, since I'm afraid they are not as good the second time. They include for example: Atonement and Broke back mountain.

I love Criminal Minds, NCIS, Game of Thrones, Doctor Who, Graham Norton Show and Last week tonight.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I traveled North-America for 3 months after my exchange year. I visited 17 cities and met some amazing people. I have also traveled all around Japan with my best friend twice and they have been the best trips of my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can tell you a lot about Finland. Share some finnish food and alcohol. I love to learn about other cultures and if you can teach me to cook some of your traditional food that would be great.
