I am Sabine.
I was born in Bordeaux, France, 42 years ago. I left my home country almost six years ago to move to New York. After five winters there, I'm over it and looking for my little spot in the universe.
So here I am now!
I'm very energetic, always creating stuff in the magic world I live in. I'm a very airy person, always dreaming. I'm only able to be happy when I manage to live in the moment. And when I travel, it's so much easier to do it. I'm really a kid stuck in a 42 year old body.
I'm very young spirited and just looking for some happiness in this crazy world.

Traveling taught me that when you feel like doing something you're both excited and scared about, it means you really have to do it. You will always end up enriched and grander.
I love that moment when you enter a person's home for the first time and you start talking and discover common interests and share a special moment with a new friend. I only met welcoming people here that I'm sure I will see again, and I know it's only going to get better.
Couch surfing makes it so easy for great people to meet.
And I can't wait to find my future spot so I can welcome people from all over the world and keep traveling through their adventures.
I have nothing to offer but good vibes and my free spirit.

I practice Tibetan yoga daily. You can do it with me if you want!
I am currently writing a TV series, a screenplay and keeping a traveling journal.
I'm also a TV geek (The Walking Dead, Breaking Bad, Once Upon a Time, Person of Interest, Vikings, and so many more! ) but not so much when I travel.
Acting is my first choice of career, which I used to do in France but always wanted to do in America.
I do tarot readings and celebrate the Moon any chance I get. I'm a little witchy!
I love cooking any kind of dish. My favorite food is definitely Italian.
I thrive when in nature and I am a tree huger! Anything outdoors is a new adventure.
Also I am traveling with my ukulele, which I don't really play yet but I'm learning!

I enjoy any kind of music except techno and house music! I'm very rock n' roll and kind of old school when it comes to music. I also have a weakness for movie soundtracks.
I love movies! Of course!! Old Boy is definitely one of my favorite (Not the new one, the Korean one!), Beetlejuice, Memento, Fight Club, Usual Suspects, The Shining. Jack Nicholson is my god! Everything Christopher Nolan, such a brilliant screenwriter.
I loved reading Jonathan Safran Foer's Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, as well as Everything Is Illuminated. I am a big fan of Bukowski, Burrows, Fante (father & son) and Neil Gaiman. Replay by Ken Grimwood is one of my favorite fiction books. The past years I have started reading more spiritual books and would totally recommend The Power of Now from Eckart Tolle. This book changed the way I see and live my life and brought me where I am today.. On the Road!

I left my home country to move to a foreign country and I believe that what I'm living right now is probably the most amazing thing I ever experienced! I hope it will bring me closer to my real purpose.
Starting that trip is one of the most exciting thing I've ever done.

I can teach you about cooking (European cuisine mostly but I'm very creative and a furious googler. I'm always in to try new things!)
I can teach you some French and a bit of juggling.

Someone needs to teach me how to play ukulele!!!

I will share my good vibes. A nice dinner with good wine is always welcome and the best way to spend time with friends, old or new.
