"Walking means being open to the world. The act of walking brings use to the happy consciousness of his own existence, emerges in an active form of meditation that calls for the full participation of all the senses.
It 'an experience that sometimes changes us, making us more prone to enjoy time than to place ourselves in a hurry that governs the life of the people of our time. Walking is living through the body. for short or long time ... in the context of everyday reality it would seem to express a form of nostalgia, or of resistance.
The walkers are special people who accept for a few hours or a few days to get out of the car to physically venture into the world naked, favors the development of an elementary existence philosophy based on a series of small things, it leads to a moment to wonder about himself, about his relationship with nature and with others, to meditate an unexpected range of issues.
Waste time walking appears as an act anachronistic in a world dominated by haste. Because it introduces a delectable dimension of time, as places, walking is a gap, a sneer to modernity "(David Le Breton" The World at My Feet ")
