I am a person who loves to travel. I love to walk around in cities and gaze at all that makes them special and amazing. I love old building and I am inspired by all things old. That may be why I take care for the elderly. They are fascinating and have great stories.
I have two grown children who are my joy. I do a lot of traveling with my daughter. We love good food and enjoy trying new foods in all the places we have been.
My parents are great travelers also and have inspired me to see as much as I can.
I love to walk so I can experience each new place to its fullest. I want to spend a year or so just traveling the world and meeting new people, making friends. I love music, art, flea markets, I try to be adventurous and open to new things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Well I have heard from my parents that it is awesome. They have had so many wonderful people stay with them and I am getting a little jealous. ( hahaha! ) I have stayed in hotels, then used VRBO and others liked it. More recently Airbnb which has been great. I enjoyed meeting each person or family thru Airbnb but the experiences that seem to be available with couch surfing look to be a terrific new experience to enjoy. I would also like to share mu home and city with others.

Music, Movies, and Books

I truly enjoy many kinds of music from all generations. Favorite book is the Bible. Favorite movies: dirty dancing , Ghost, Hobbit, All Fast and the furious movies. I am eclectic in all areas of life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Had 2 beautiful children. Fostered 25 dogs last year along with the 5 we have. Been able to travel and give those experiences to my children.

Cared for 100's of elderly with Dementia and Alzheimers.

Had opportunities to help those less fortunate then myself!

Teach, Learn, Share

I would die to learn another language, it has always been a struggle. I want to learn about the world. What makes us different and what makes us the same. By experiencing different countries you can learn so much more about the culture and the past then thru any books.
I like to share whatever I can that someone else might want to know about where I am from and why I am who I am.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I enjoy a good conversation. I have been know to make good meals. Mexican and American. I am generally a helpful person. I am respectful of others homes and lifestyles. I will give back in any way that I can.
