About Me

ABOUT ME

Easy going, I will eat or drink anything at least once and as long as I have somewhere safe to sleep I am happy. I love to meet new people and hear about their lives and what interests them.

PHILOSOPHY

Have a good time, make the best of any situation because anything is interesting if you look at it the right way, and be nice to everyone!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well I haven't participated yet, but that's going to change!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't had any couchsurfing experience through this site but I've slept on many a couch in my day and offered up my couch many a time in return. Mostly friends, family, and friends of friends have been my hosts and guests but now that I want to go out and travel more of the world I think it's time to meet some new people!

Interests

I like to read a lot, I enjoy taking long walks and just taking in my surroundings. Open markets are something that I enjoy and I love going out to pubs and having a pint with good company.

Music, Movies, and Books

Murakami Haruki, Terry Pratchett, Edogawa Ranpo, and lots of other nifty books that are old fashioned mysteries or magical realism or fantasy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In Japan a group and I went out for a day of doing not much and ended up walking along the water with old business men, climbing a mountain to a small shrine where we got eaten alive by flies, treking through an abandoned rice field that got us muddy beyond belief and ruined our shoes and at the end we ended up in this gorgeous inlet where we swam in the ocean until we were vaguely clean. After another long walk we eventually found an extremely small train stop where we watched the sun set behind the mountains before the train came to take us back. One of the best days ever.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can knit and crochet and if you have anything that needs patching up I'm OK at sewing. I can cook reasonably well. I can swing dance and belly dance.
