À propos de moi

Hi there!

I'm a university student in the middle of her B.A. degree in Art History and History! I was born and raised in Toronto, Canada. I have always enjoyed travelling and experiencing new people, cultures and cuisines! I have travelled to a couple of places, but I am always looking to see more! I have been to the U.S. ( New York Chicago, Boston), Jamaica, Guyana, Costa Rica, Trinidad as well as the U.K., Portugal and Saudi Arabia.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

When I found out about Couchsurfing I was thrilled to know that I could really get to experience a city like a true local. I'm also excited to meet and learn from new people! Right now I'm looking to do some travelling in Europe and I'm looking forward to experiencing it in a meaningful and true-to-life way!

Centres d'intérêt

1. I love to learn - and when I travel this means anything from roaming the streets for hours to walking around an art gallery. I also love talking and learning about other people's experiences and ways of life. There's something to learn from everyone.

2. I love food- I love trying new cuisines and I'm always excited to try new flavours and food combinations. My most exciting dish to date has been cow tongue - delicious!

3. I love music - I'm mainly into RnB and electronic music right now, but i still have an ear for classical music ( I play the cello) and anything else that has good beat or some beautiful lyrics.

4. I'm easygoing -During university I've had to share my accommodations plenty of times - whether living on residence or sharing a private room in a house - I'm clean, considerate and I get along well with others.

5. My motto: Like Attracts Like. I'm an optimist and I prefer to see the good in things and people. I think that that always makes it easier to learn from experiences and enjoy and appreciate them to their fullest.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I'm really open to anything in terms of music, movies and books. Right now I'd have to say that my favourite genre of music is tied between R&B and Electronic Music. I'm a fan of anything that is some sort of mixture of these two like Electro Reggae ( Tove Styrke's Borderline is pretty awesome!)

My favourite book is prorably Haruki Murakami's Kafka by the Shore

And my favourite movie depends on my mood but I 'm always in the mood Notes On A Scandal, Annie Hall, The Departed or Hitch

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Climb to the top of a mountain in Costa Rica to see the Pacific Ocean on my left and the Atlantic on my right. The three day climb was worth it!

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

I'm still very much a student myself, but I love learning new phrases in different languages and how to cook new dishes. I have a couple basic, but very tasty meals up my sleeve so I can always offer those. I also know how to knit and sew if that's of interest!

Ce que j'aimerais partager avec mes hôtes

First, I can promise that if you host me you will have a kind, clean and considerate house mate! Other than that I can help you cook, do some cleaning and be a good conversation partner!
