Hey there, I’m Salikh and hope you are glad right now. I’m student, living in Moscow, working in Moscow, hanging out with my friends wherever it’s possible. Pretty often I’m hear that I’m look like a Spanish, but I’m Russian, really. All my life I’ve been waiting for this time of freedom and joy, I was dreaming about adventures since I was child, but my first trip was just last summer, i spent 4 months in USA year ago, and was lining and working in amusement park there. In September 2018 was my first “big trip”, it was across USA. So now I want to visit all Europe and Asia for next couple years, but Europe first, because it’s closer and better for me as a newbie in traveling. Hope to find somebody who will be part of my own little story “There and back again”.

Because I don’t like all these big plans, I mean, I don’t like when some people tell you what you should see/try/visit in some country. I’m believe that a real trip should be unexpected and improvised, just dive into some culture. That’s why I’m here, to find somebody to feel real place that I wanna visit, not just touristic part of it.

Intereses

I didn’t see this part before and described more of that above, so here I wanna write about my main interest. Since I was a child my main interest was my friends. I can do anything with them and it’s gonna be super cool. They make everything is better and more interesting. I don’t have a really many friends and I’m really appreciate each of them. Unfortunately I’m not able to have this trip with them or with my girlfriend, so that’s one more reason why I’m here.

Música, películas y libros

Mostly I listen alternative or hip hop music, but last time I really like jazz music, so I pretty often playing some Apple Music playlists with jazz and just relaxing, so basically, music is just kinda part of my mood. But one thing that’s I really like - movies. I can’t describe my love to this 24 frames per second on the screen. I like to hear names like Fincher, Tarantino, Tarkovsky, Bergman, Trier, Scorsese, Kubrick, Lynch etc, and Ritchie my own tragedy (can tell you why sometime). Also I like philosophy books, because I’m looking for some kind of my way and have many questions about it. By the way, I really like Jack London, Tolkien, Vonnegut, Douglas Adams, Pratchett etc. But best movie and best book for all the time it’s The lord of the ring. I love it more than everything.

In my first trip I spent almost all my money for car, because I wanted to buy mini van, so I had to live in this cheap mini van at the “Walmart” parking for next couple weeks with my friend and one girl that we picked up during the travel. And sell the car in the end of travel in LA for just 600 bucks, because we didn’t have enough time for this.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

I’m studying computer sciences in my college, but my interests more than just IT. I can play ukulele and guitar, and really like to do it as a hobby. I like to watch video and read books about how movies works, that’s super interesting. I like to read and discuss history, about rise and falls of civilization and about great peoples. I’ve tried to learn Spanish, but learned just couple bad phrases and “quiero darte un beso” from my Spanish friends. By the way, I was learning German for 2 years in the high school, but, unfortunately, forgot all. So there’s really many things that I like to do such as playing board games or wining beer pong championship in my dormitory (yeah, I’m defending champion of beer pong cup).

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

Sure I can bring you some cool souvenirs from mother Russia, as many, as my airport baggage will allow. I can teach you play guitar or ukulele. But it’s such obvious, yeah, I bet you read it 100 times. So I will show you our students method how to open wine if you don’t have a bottle opener, but have a couple hobnails and pliers and stuff :)
